How to Earn PC Optimum Points with DoorDash in Canada

PC Optimum allows you to earn PC points for DoorDash purchases in Canada. As one of the largest loyalty rewards programs in the country, you can earn and redeem PC points at Loblaws-branded stores just about anywhere.

Now, you can maximize your PC points by earning them for grocery or food delivery from DoorDash. Before we dive into the details of what you get and which credit cards to use, we want to point out that you'll only earn PC points; you can't redeem them with DoorDash at this time.

How to Earn PC Optimum points with DoorDash

It only takes a moment to link your PC Optimum account with your DoorDash account, assuming you have accounts with both programs. Here's all you have to do:

1. Open the DoorDash mobile app
2. Tap on the Account/Rewards tab
3. Tap the option to link your account with PC Optimum
4. Enter your PC Optimum card number or scan the barcode
5. Confirm the link with an email or in-app notification code

Once you've confirmed the link, your accounts are combined, and you should see points appear within a day or two.

You'll earn 5 PC Optimum points per $1 spent at participating DoorDash deliveries, but you won't earn points on tips, fees, or alcohol.

Can you redeem PC Optimum points on DoorDash orders?

Unfortunately, you can only earn PC points with your DoorDash orders – you can't redeem PC points for DoorDash delivery at this time.

Instead, you can redeem PC Optimum points at any participating Loblaws-banner store. Or, you can redeem them for fuel at Esso and Mobil gas stations.

You can also put them toward car washes at Esso and Mobil stations. This is actually your best redemption option, since you get the most value from your points.

PC Financial cardholders can also use points to pay credit card statements, but we don't recommend this option. You'll get 30% more from your points when you redeem them directly for groceries or fuel – and over 50% more if you go for a car wash!

PC Optimum partnership with DoorDash

In June 2025, PC Optimum announced a new partnership with DoorDash delivery services. PC Optimum members who paired their accounts with DoorDash could start earning valuable PC points for qualifying deliveries.

At the time, PC Optimum gave a launch bonus to new customers and even existing members who linked accounts. Unfortunately, the launch promotion ended in 2025 – but if you're a member of both programs, you should still link your accounts! You can still earn PC Optimum points on DoorDash orders.
