After helping Canadians save tens of millions since late 2024, CIBC and Skip the Dishes are expanding their partnership with a stronger focus on everyday value.
The update is simple. If you have an eligible CIBC credit card or debit card, you can now link your card and get a free Skip+ membership for as long as your account stays active.
A Skip+ membership is usually about $120 per year and unlocks a range of ongoing perks designed to make regular orders more affordable.

What the new CIBC and Skip partnership includes
Once you link an eligible CIBC credit card or debit card to your Skip account, you unlock a full set of Skip+ benefits.
The biggest draw is the $0 delivery fees on eligible orders, which can add up quickly for frequent users.
On top of that, CIBC cardholders can earn a $10 monthly voucher by placing four orders of $30 or more in a single month.
New users with linked CIBC cards also get a $20 welcome voucher to use on their first qualifying order.
On top of those savings, a Skip+ membership also includes access to exclusive offers, in-app challenges, and partner perks. Some of these extend beyond food delivery and include groceries, flowers, and everyday essentials.
Rachel MacAdam, Vice President of Marketing at Skip, says Skip+ is "about more than just convenience – it's about maximizing the value of everyday purchases." While Skip the Dishes is known for meal delivery, its expanding offerings and partnerships signal an interest in offering Canadians broader value.
Expanding Skip partnerships
Skip's partnership with CIBC isn't new – they launched a 12-month free trial and accompanying perks in 2024. But this update brings the collaboration to a new level.
Instead of focusing on one-time promotions, the updated CIBC/Skip partnership leans into a membership model.
People want rewards that fit into their daily routines. This approach offers Canadians steady, predictable value each month while still offering access to special perks and experiences.
"It's those small, frequent transactions that really add up over time," says MacAdam. "We've turned that insight into a reality, helping eligible members save tens of millions of dollars simply by going about their normal routines."
This announcement follows Skip's November 2025 partnership with WestJet. As of the time of publishing, you can still link your WestJet and Skip accounts to earn 500 WestJet points and a 6-month Skip+ membership.
Skip the Dishes isn't the only food delivery service stacking partnerships with banks and loyalty programs. DoorDash boasts partnerships with RBC and PC Optimum.

It's worth noting that RBC's complimentary DoorDash memberships last 6 – 12 months, depending on your credit card. This new offer from Skip and CIBC lasts as long as your accounts are connected and in good standing.
