Scotiabank Scene Visa New Offer Worth Up To 7,500 Scene+ Points

The Scene+ program and its credit cards are undergoing a major overhaul.

Between Sobeys joining Scene+ and all the credit card upgrades, there’s a lot going on with the Scene program.

One part of the upgrades? One of their credit cards also just got a welcome bonus upgrade.

Earn up to 7,500 points with the Scotiabank Scene Visa

Scotiabank has increased the welcome bonus of the Scotiabank Scene+ Visa Card.

It previously offered 5,000 points as part of signing up.

But now, you can earn 7,500 points as such:

• 5,000 points when you spend $750 in the first year, and
• 2,500 points when you spend $5,000 in the first year.

Those 7,500 points are worth up to $75 when redeemed for travel, or up to $78 for movie tickets.

Other changes coming to the Scotiabank Scene Visa

There are more changes in store for the Scotiabank Scene Visa coming on October 1, 2022. It’s no longer a credit card dedicated to earning you more at the movies.

Starting on that date, it will no longer be earning members 5 points per $1 spent at the movies.

In its place, you’ll earn 2 points per $1 spent at Sobeys and Safeway grocery stores, as well as Cineplex theatres.

You’ll continue to earn 1 point per $1 spent on everything else.
