It’s the last week of November, and Black Friday is coming up – one of the biggest shopping times of the year.

That means there’s bound to be some great deals to be had, especially for your holiday shopping.

Here are some of the hottest deals you can take advantage of, either starting right now or on Black Friday itself.

We’ll update this page during the week if any new deals should arise (or change).

20x the AIR MILES through AIR MILES Shops (ends Dec 1)

Let’s start with a bang. From November 29 to December 1, you can get 20x the AIR MILES when you shop at retailers through airmilesshops.ca.

This offer isn’t officially announced, but if you have a BMO AIR MILES card you may have seen an email letting you know it’s coming.

AIR MILES Shops Black Friyay promo
20x the miles – that’s an astounding return. Normally, you’d only earn 1 mile for every $20 spent, so this offer is essentially 1 mile per $1 spent.

With an AIR MILE worth up to 17.2 cents each, that’s an amazing 17.2% return on your spending on this offer alone.

To make things sweeter, if you have any BMO AIR MILES card, such as the or the , there’s a special offer you can stack:

BMO AIR MILES Amazon bonus deal
Simply spend $200 at Amazon through airmilesshops.ca and you’ll earn a bonus 100 Miles, on top of what your card would earn as well. And, you don’t have to spend $200 in one transaction either, it can be spread out during the promotion.

You’ll have to opt-in to this offer in the email you received. But, you’ll rack up some serious miles.

Say you spend exactly $200 at Amazon (pre-tax, as you can’t earn miles through airmilesshops.ca on taxes you pay). You’d get:

  • 100 bonus miles from your BMO card,
  • another 10 to 20 miles from the base earn rate on your AIR MILES card (depending on the card),
  • 200 miles as part of earning 20x the miles at Amazon, and
  • 50 bonus miles as part of Shop The Block.

You’re looking at 360 to 370 miles for spending $200 and getting some early holiday shopping done as well. An amazing amount of AIR MILES to earn. With 1 Mile worth up to 17.2 cents, 370 AIR MILES are worth $63, an astounding return of 31.5%.

Even if you only collect cash miles, 370 AIR MILES are still worth $39.

They’re also teasing a Cyber Monday offer as well, so keep your eye out…

Want to get started early? You can get up to 10x the miles at partners right now until November 28.

Details are here on what the airmilesshops.ca offers contain.

Up to 10x the miles at the Aeroplan e-store (ends Dec 3)

Don’t worry Aeroplan collectors, you’re not left out in the cold. The Aeroplan e-store is also running its own deals right now.

Until December 3rd, you can earn up to 10x the miles through the Aeroplan e-store. Most stores offer 1 Aeroplan mile per $1 spent, so you could be looking at 10 miles per $1 spent instead. With an Aeroplan mile worth up to 2.5 cents each, you could be getting a return of up to 25%.

Just keep in mind that not all stores are offering 10x the miles. Some of the more popular stores (like Amazon) are running in the 5x the miles range.

Transfer hotel points to Aeroplan and get 35% more miles (ends Dec 3)

Another Aeroplan deal we’ll spotlight is transferring your hotel points to Aeroplan.

Until December 3, get 35% bonus Aeroplan miles when you transfer your hotel points to Aeroplan.

It can be a great way to turn random hotel points and add them to your Aeroplan bank.

As an example, say you wanted to transfer 45,000 Marriott points to Aeroplan. Marriott transfers at a 3:1 ratio to Aeroplan.

Normally, you would get 15,000 Aeroplan miles for the transfer. But, during this promo you would earn an additional 5,250 miles, for a total of 20,250 miles instead.

Here’s how this deal works.
