What to expect from Tims and Canadian Tire's partnership
To take advantage of the new partnership, Tims Rewards and Triangle Rewards members will be able to link their accounts together. Here are the benefits announced so far:
- Earn Canadian Tire money on purchases at Tim Hortons
- Access to exclusive offers
The details of the exclusive offers have yet to be announced. But if you're a frequent Tims customer, you'll be able to also rack up some CT Money while you're enjoying your cup of joe.
Earlier this year, Canadian Tire announced a future relationship with WestJet, also set to launch in 2026. Similarly, this partnership will allow users to link their rewards memberships for bonus benefits, such as the ability to convert WestJet Rewards into Canadian Tire Money.
And of course, this is on top of Triangle Rewards’ existing partnership with Petro-Points.
With all these partnerships, you’ll be able to earn CT Money at more places and get more value out of your Triangle Rewards membership.
More About Triangle Rewards
Triangle Rewards is the loyalty program for Canadian Tire stores. But it goes beyond just Canadian Tire – you can also earn and redeem points (in the form of Canadian Tire Money) at any of these merchants:
- Sport Chek
- Mark's
- Sports Experts
- Party City
- Hockey Experts
- Atmosphere
You'll earn 0.4% back on all your purchases, pre-tax. You can redeem your rewards whenever you like, right at the register

Triangle Rewards Partners
As mentioned, Triangle Rewards has other partnerships in place.
Petro-Points
With Petro-Points and Triangle Rewards, when you gas up at Petro-Canada and Gas+ stations, you can double dip on your rewards (with a catch).
Once your accounts are linked, you'll earn 12 Petro-Points per litre of fuel purchase. But to get Canadian Tire Money, you'll need to pay with cash, debit, or a Triangle Mastercard, like the Triangle World Elite Mastercard.
What you'll earn depends on how you pay:
- 3 cents per litre in CT Money when you pay with cash or debit
- 5 cents per litre in CT Money when you use a Triangle Mastercard
There's one more bonus. With your accounts linked, you can convert your Petro-Points into CT Money. Every 1,000 Petro-Points becomes $1 in CT Money.
WestJet Rewards
This partnership is also coming in 2026. Once launched, you'll be able to link your WestJet and Triangle Rewards accounts, and on your WestJet purchases you'll earn both WestJet points and Canadian Tire money.
As well, you’ll have the option to convert WestJet Rewards into Canadian Tire Money.
About Tims Rewards
Tims Rewards is Tim Hortons’ loyalty program. Every purchase made at a Tims Restaurant earns Tims Rewards points.
On all purchases, you'll earn 10 points per $1 spent (you don't earn points on any taxes). Once you've earned enough points, you can redeem them for a free item. For example, a free coffee costs 400 points, while a free breakfast costs 1,100 points.
