How to get your 10% cash back at Shell
So how do you take advantage of this offer?
First, head to this site and register your Mastercard for the offer. All Mastercards are eligible.
Make a purchase of at least $50 on fuel, or anything in store, and you’ll get a statement credit equal to 10% of the amount. You should see the credit within 3-5 days, and no later than your next statement itself.
You’ll be saving yourself a good chunk of change when you fill up, all while collecting your credit card rewards as well.
This offer ends on December 30, 2019. Perfect for those fall and holiday road trips.
Tip: Sometimes Shell stations have a Needs, Sobeys Express, or other non-Shell convenience stores attached to them.
In these cases, be sure to pay at the pump. If you go inside to pay, oftentimes your fuel won’t appear as a Shell purchase, and thus won’t qualify for the offer.
Paying at the pump will ensure it’s a Shell purchase. I know this is the case at my local Shell, which has a Needs convenience store.
Earn bonus miles on your fuel as well
While you’re filling up at Shell, why not earn some bonus AIR MILES while you’re at it?

Use the Shell App to pay for fuel from your smartphone. Available for both Android and iOS phones, you can securely save your credit card, your AIR MILES number, and pay for fuel with a few touches – from the comfort of your car.
Every time you use the app to pay for fuel, you’ll get 3 bonus AIR MILES when you get at least 25 litres of fuel of any grade.
As an extra bonus, you’ll get an additional 20 AIR MILES the first time you try it out.
Just note that you can’t use the app to pay for fuel at all Shell stations at this time. The app does have a station finder and you can filter to show which stations allow you to use the app for fuel purchases.
