New Walmart+ subscription
There are 3 basic things a Walmart+ subscription includes:
- Free same-day delivery from your local Walmart
- Free online shipping on any order
- A Crave with ads subscription
For same-day delivery, you'll get your delivery free as long as you spend more than $35 on your order. If you want express delivery, a membership will save you $8.97 on fees.
Make purchases online at Walmart.ca? There's no longer a minimum amount for free shipping, though this doesn't apply to oversize items or items purchased from a marketplace seller.
Finally, there's the free Crave plan. You'll save significantly on streaming costs with this free Crave with ads plan, but keep in mind that, at this time, you can't upgrade to a regular plan. However, the terms simply state "at this time," so this may change in the future.
The cost for a Walmart+ plan
For what it includes (especially the Crave plan), Walmart+ only costs $8.97 per month or $89 annually, plus applicable taxes. Paying for a Crave plan alone is $11.99 per month plus taxes.

Get free Walmart+ with Walmart Mastercards
Have a Walmart Mastercard? You'll get a few free months of Walmart+ every year you have the card. How many depends on the Walmart Mastercard you have.
If you have the Walmart Rewards Mastercard, the card includes 3 free months. For the Walmart Rewards World Mastercard, it increases to 6 months. For the frequent Walmart shopper, this is an excellent perk.
Best of all, these cards have no annual fee.

The major downside to Walmart cards is that they don't necessarily offer the best rewards on your Walmart purchases.
