Earlier this year, we learned that Plaza Premium lounges were being dropped by Priority Pass and LoungeKey.
For many credit cards, that means these lounges couldn’t be accessed anymore through the program.
And while it may not seem like much, Plaza Premium Lounges operated many lounges in airports across Canada, leaving us with few options.
But some news has come our way to start changing it around.

Select Visa credit cards have regained access to Plaza Premium Lounges
Thanks to a new partnership with Dragon Pass, many Visa credit cards that include lounge access will now be able to access Plaza Premium Lounges again.
It’s only temporary until June 2022, but at least you can access them again for the time being. Hopefully Plaza Premium will be able to work out a more permanent solution soon.

Mastercard Airport Experiences
So that’s good news if you have a Visa card with lounge access, but not if you have a Mastercard.
You’re still out of luck right now if you want to access a Plaza Premium Lounge with a membership in Mastercard Airport Experiences.
Hopefully, things will change soon in this regard too.
