Yup, it’s back.
New applicants to the Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite will earn 10% cash back on all purchases for the first 3 months, up to $2,000 in spending. Spend the full $2,000, and that’s $200 in cash back right there.
With that said, the welcome bonus itself isn’t worth the full $200, as it includes what you would be normally earning anyway (this is true for just about all cash back credit card offers).
Based on our typical $2,000 monthly spend, it’s worth about $159. To get closer to the $200, try to spend as much of your welcome bonus on a category that doesn’t usually earn bonus rewards (anything besides groceries, bills, and gas).
All about the Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite
So what makes this one of the best cash back credit cards? It’s all in the earn rates.
Here’s what you’ll get on purchases:

- 2% cash back on gas and transit (up to $25,000 spent per year), and
- 1% cash back on all other purchases.
