DoorDash and Lyft have launched a new partnership in Canada that adds rideshare savings to the DashPass membership.

This expands the value of the DashPass beyond food delivery, giving members more ways to save on things they're already spending money on.

The new DoorDash partnership allows DashPass members to save on Lyft rides directly through their membership. DashPass already offers $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on certain orders, but now it also includes discounts on transportation, adding more value to a single subscription.

This is the first time DashPass members have been able to access Lyft savings outside of the United States.

This Lyft partnership gives DashPass members access to both one-time and ongoing ride discounts.

Users can get 50% off one ride (up to $10) within the first 30 days of linking their accounts.

Ongoing perks include 5% off on-demand rides and 10% off scheduled airport rides, with a limit of 4 discounted rides per month, plus 2 free priority pickup upgrades per month.

These savings apply automatically when booking through Lyft, with no codes or extra steps required.

How to link your DoorDash and Lyft accounts

Eligible users can link their accounts through either the DoorDash or Lyft apps. Once connected, all eligible discounts will automatically apply. New Lyft users who aren't already subscribed to DashPass may also qualify for a 3-month free trial. After the trial ends, the membership renews at the standard monthly rate unless cancelled.
