There’s a new way to earn VIPorter points: the co-branded BMO VIPorter Mastercard and World Elite Mastercard.
Today marks the launch of two new co-branded airline cards that will freshen up the airline rewards landscape in Canada.

BMO VIPorter cards answer demand for something new and different
Nearly 30,000 Canadians added their names to the waitlist for these cards when they were announced a couple of months ago, which van Teunenbroek says shows clear demand for more Porter and further demonstrates the loyalty of its passengers.

Credit cards mark the beginning of greater expansion for Porter
While VIPorter has traditionally played second (er, third?) fiddle to Aeroplan and WestJet Rewards, Porter is expanding quickly and has no plans to stop.
"We are used to challenging larger competitors by disrupting the market and that’s also our intention with these new cards," says van Teunenbroek.
"This is just the beginning for us. Porter will continue expanding its network across North America and we’re looking at diversifying our route map even further to include destinations such as Mexico and the Caribbean."
They recently announced that VIPorter members can redeem points for flights with partner airlines Air Transat and Alaska Airlines, which opens up over 2,000 routes for reward travel – including more of the U.S. plus Europe and the Caribbean.
Porter is growing faster than any other airline in Canada, emerging as a serious competitor to established rewards programs.
