The dollar value of your rewards depends on the specific rewards program ‒ and what you choose to redeem your points for. For TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite Card in particular, if you spend $2,000 per month, here's our estimated annual rewards earned depending on which reward you choose:
| Travel from Expedia For TD | $475 | |

Our review
Rewards and discounts are two things that the TD® First Class Travel® Visa Infinite* Card is all about.
It starts you off with 20,000 points when you make your first purchase with your card and another 145,000 points when you spend $7,500 in the first 180 days.
TD and Visa want their users to feel like they can travel in luxury, and they do a fairly good job of delivering on that. With discounts on:
- car rentals,
- travel, and
- 24/7 Concierge Service
…this card could have you on your next luxury vacation – at a frugal cost – before you know it.
First Class Travel rewards
One thing that makes this card really stand out against its competitors is the ability to earn up to 4% back in rewards. That’s how much you'll earn anytime you book your travel through ExpediaForTD.com, which has all the same deals and options as regular Expedia.
So every time you travel, you could be earning 8 points per $1 spent to go towards your next trip when you book travel online through Expedia®️ For TD.
Here are the other earn rates for this card:
- 6 points per $1 spent on groceries, restaurants and public transit
- 4 points per $1 spent on recurring bill payments and streaming/digital gaming/media
- 2 points per $1 spent on all other purchases.
You can also earn a birthday bonus of up to 10,000 points. And every year you have the card, you can get a $100 travel credit on a purchase of $500 or more at Expedia For TD.
These points never expire and can be used on:
- any airline,
- any travel purchase,
- merchandise,
- gift cards, or
- as a credit to your TD Travel Credit Card account.

Travel perks and benefits
Because this card is a Visa Infinite card, there are more perks to list. Aside from the 24/7 Concierge Service, you get access to:
- the Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection – which you can use at over 900 hotels worldwide, and…
- the Visa Infinite Dining Series with exclusive offers on food, wine, travel, entertainment and sports, as well as
- 9 types of travel and purchase insurance.
Get your annual fee rebated
This card comes with a $139 annual fee for the primary cardholder ($50 for authorized users), and a fairly high minimum income requirement of $60K ($100K for family).
But, if you’re a TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan customer, you can get the annual fee completely rebated. The $29.95 monthly banking plan fee can also be rebated if you keep a minimum balance of $5,000 in your account.

I think it has a very good value proposition for the occasional traveler ($100 credit and 4 lounge visits) for a reasonable fee and very good earning structure. Plus, wide acceptance as a Visa.
I was preauthorized to get this card from TD. I’m so disappointed with this credit card because without my authorization I was charged $7.5 for a monthly insurance protection fee.
Many vendors will send security code to your canadian number. If you are overseas and planning to use your card but do not have access to your canadian number, be ready to spend a considerable amount of time on the phone with customer service.
Love my card and the benefits. Can book travel any way or through expedia for TD. If you book any way, you just request to apply your points to your travel booking. You just need to provide transaction date and they apply the credit. Have used the cancellation insurance twice. Love the benefits. I get anywhere between $2000-4000 every year in points to use!
They call it First class travel Credit card however, I had to change my PIN while travelling as system was not accepting current PIN and I was told it cannot be done online or over the phone. They would send it in the mail, which did not help. I think for a travel card, there should be options to help clients while they are traveling.
Did not like that points for travel should be redeemed through Expedia.
