| Airline Rewards Chart | $802 | |
| Travel through CIBC rewards | $350 | |

I have lost my enthusiasm for this card. Having two Nexus cards is nice if you want to travel to USA but as the statistics prove, Canadians don’t want to travel there. Value of Nexus benefit = $0
Ability to book the type of travel I want through the cards travel agency (CIBC by Expedia) has provided nothing but frustration. Belligerent staff. Can only book what is in the Expedia online inventory. Tried to book an Intrepid Tour to Iceland. Can’t book it. But they can book flight and separated day trips. But told me I can’t use points to pay for it. CIBC by Expedia benefit = $0
I do benefit from the $200 yearly travel credit and insurance for anyone over 65.
If you value the freedom to book the travel that you want, and not what Expedia has to offer, suggest a pass on this card.
Avoid it! I traveled with my family, and our flight was canceled and rescheduled. With my 3-year-old son exhausted from all the waiting, I had to book a hotel, believing it was covered by Travel Insurance. However, I found out that the policy is very specific and does not cover "the cancellation."
The rewards are also terrible, and flight prices are always above market rates. After a long time, I am canceling this card.
Good card, but could not find flights that valued points at more than 1 cent, not the 2 cents talked about
Great card. Very high reward rate (2.9% in my case) and great insurance.
Plus pays for mine and my wife's Nexus, and an annual $200 travel credit, and airport lounge access.
Excellent card. Great value with NEXUS rebate, 200 dollar travel credit and 120 off with Smart plus account effectively making the card almost free the first year plus 50000 sign up points.
