What is Rexall Be Well?
Be Well is Rexall's loyalty program, which was introduced in 2020. As a member of Be Well, you can accumulate points on purchases and redeem them in store for almost anything you like.
Prior to 2020, Rexall was a participant in the Air Miles program. It dropped Air MIles in favour of an in-house loyalty program and partnered with RBC to help cardholders accelerate Be Well earn rates.
In addition to earning reward points, Be Well also offers other benefits:
- Personalized digital offers: Get discounts on items you often purchase at Rexall.
- Ability to manage your prescriptions: Add, transfer, or request refills of your prescription all through the app. Plus, you’ll get notifications when prescriptions are ready.
- Opportunity to contact your local Rexall Pharmacy: It’s easy to transfer your account or establish yourself as a new customer using the Be Well app.
- Access your personal health and vaccination history: In addition to seeing your health records, Be Well displays the last three years of your vaccination records.
How to earn Be Well points
Before you can use your Rexall Be Well points, you need to start collecting them. You have 3 ways to earn points.
In-store purchases
The easiest way to earn Be Well points is by shopping at any Rexall store. You'll earn 10 points for every $1 spent on most purchases. There are a few items that won't earn you points, but they're standard exclusions to most loyalty programs. These include, but aren't limited to:
- Lottery tickets
- Tobacco products
- Gift and prepaid cards
- Passport photos
- Baby diapers and formula
- Transit tickets
Whether or not you can earn points on prescription costs depends on your province. This isn't just for Rexall; it applies to any pharmacy.
In general, you won't earn rewards on prescriptions in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland.
Personalized bonus offers
On top of the regular store earn rate, you'll get personalized offers through the app. Just log in to see what’s available.
Here's an example of offers you might see:
You’ll need to load each offer you want to claim or you won’t earn the points. You can load offers by logging into your Be Well account or adding them through the Rexall app, available on both Apple and Android devices.
RBC credit cards
While there aren't any Rexall co-branded credit cards, the retailer has a partnership with RBC that can earn you bonus Be Well points on your purchases. Some RBC credit and debit cards earn you 50 Be Well points per $1 spent on Rexall purchases – 5x the standard earn rate!

Redeem 25,000 points for a $10 discount, which gives you a point value of 0.04 cents per point. It's not much, but it's better than nothing.
PC Optimum is a comparable program, offering a redemption of 10,000 points for a $10 discount. This gives you a value of 0.1 cents per point.
How to redeem Be Well points
You can redeem your Be Well points for a discount on your purchase at Rexall locations.
When you’re ready to check out, scan your Be Well card and let the cashier know that you'd like to redeem points. For every 25,000 points you have, you’ll get a $10 discount on your purchase – and you can only redeem the points in $10 increments.
