RBC Avion is giving travellers a little extra mileage out of their points this month.
Until September 3, 2026, eligible Avion Elite members can transfer Avion points to American Airlines AAdvantage and receive a 15% bonus. The minimum transfer is 5,000 Avion points.
Normally, 10 Avion points convert to 7 AAdvantage miles. During the promotion, that improves to 8.05 AAdvantage miles for every 10 Avion points.
So, 50,000 Avion points would normally become 35,000 AAdvantage miles, but with the bonus, you'd receive 40,250 miles instead.
