Transferring your Amex points to Flying Blue
This promotion comes a few months after Amex increased its standard Flying Blue transfer ratio. Previously, 1,000 Amex points became only 750 Flying Blue Miles. The transfer ratio is now 1:1.
And with this limited-time offer, you can get even more Flying Blue Miles.
To transfer your points, sign in to your Amex credit card account. Then go to View and Redeem Your Points.
Under Use Points, go to Transfer Points, and all the options will be there for you to browse.
Expand the Flying Blue section to see all the details. Before transferring your points, you'll have to link your Flying Blue account. If you don't have one, you can create one here.
Once your accounts are linked (this could take a couple of hours you'll be able to transfer your points. While it can take up to 3 days for your points to transfer, many users report their transfers being complete within a few minutes.
Important: Once you transfer your points, they can't be transferred back.
Before transferring your points, head to Flying Blue and see if any flights you want are available.
