Earn Air Canada Elite Status with premium Aeroplan credit cards

You have to spend $10,000 on one of these cards by October 30, 2021 in order to qualify. This is much easier than the normal spend requirement, which usually involves a certain amount of flight miles (SQM) or segments (SQS) travelled:
So how can you qualify for the offer? It depends on when you got your card.
If you applied for the card before July 11, 2021, you’ll need to head to this Air Canada page and register your account for the promotion (you have until November 30, 2021 to register).
If you applied afterwards, you’re automatically registered for the promo. Just note you need to apply by October 1, 2021 to be eligible.
Which Air Canada Status you’ll get
What you get for status depends on what your current tier is in the Air Canada Elite program. Your new status will be awarded on November 30, 2021 and will last until the end of 2022.
If you currently have no status, you’ll get Air Canada Prestige 25K.
If you have between 25K to 75K Status already, you’ll get bumped up to the next level.
And if you’re already a Super Elite member, you get 25,000 bonus status qualifying miles (SQM), 25 bonus status qualifying segments (SQS), and $3,000 bonus status qualifying dollars (SQD) in January 2022 to get you a head start on your 2023 Elite Status.
In most cases, Prestige 25K status is what you’ll get. And here’s the basics of what it includes:
- priority check-in,
- 2 free checked bags,
- priority Boarding,
- 2 one-time Maple Leaf lounge passes,
- 20 eUpgrade credits, and
- Star Alliance Silver status.
