Aeroplan hotel and car rental bookings
To use their booking site, head over to aeroplan.com and sign into your account.
Then, head over to the “Book Travel” section and search for “Car Rentals” or “Hotels.”
Book your hotel
Here’s an example of a hotel search. It will give you both the cash price and the redemption options.

Click on a hotel and you can see its details and various booking options.

All you have to do is choose your rate and complete your booking.
Book your car rental
Car rentals are almost identical. Here’s an example of search results:

Choose your provider and car type (you’ll be able to choose between Avis & Budget) and you’ll then be able to decide whether to pay with your credit card or using your points:

Pay with your Aeroplan points
If you use your points to pay, they cover all the taxes and fees.
Note: The points earned includes any regular Aeroplan earnings you could get as well. For example, this rental includes an additional 250 points, on top of earning 8 points for every $1 spent.
And there you have it. Start earning extra Aeroplan points on your hotel and car rental bookings, and get free travel sooner.
Note: Remember you’ll be forgoing any hotel and car rental loyalty points when you don’t book directly with the provider.
