Congratulations To The 2020 creditcardGenius $2,000 Scholarship Winner

The 2nd annual creditcardGenius scholarship for 2020 came to an end on September 4th, bringing in over 550 fantastic candidates from across Canada.

After careful review and a company-wide vote, we are pleased to finally announce the official winner of our $2,000 scholarship.

Congratulations to Ariane Freynet-Gagné, a 5th year student at the University of Manitoba. She’s in her final year of a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology. Next year, she hopes to pursue graduate studies in Community Psychology, with a focus on resilience in the face of environmental catastrophe.

We saw an interesting combination of interests in Ariane that helped her stand out from the crowd. Her passion for community harmony, coupled with her keen enthusiasm for ecological responsibility, makes for a promising future. This is all topped off with her extraordinary admiration for her mother, which shined through in her submission.

For these reasons, Ariane inspired the creditcardGenius team to choose her as the 2020 scholarship recipient.
