Introducing The 2021 creditcardGenius Scholarship Recipient

Near the beginning of the month, the 3rd annual $2,000 creditcardGenius scholarship came to a close.

After carefully going through all 367 applicants, we are pleased to announce the official winner of the 2021 scholarship.

And 2021’s creditcardGenius scholarship winner is…

Congratulations to Arshdeep Sarpal, a pre-med student from the University of Winnipeg.

With his amazing 4.4 GPA, Arshdeep has made it into the official list of Ace Burpee’s Top 100 Most Fascinating Manitobans of 2020. He also has a wealth of knowledge in IT and cybersecurity, with an interest in the new technologies coming to the medical field.

One of the biggest reasons why Arshdeep is pursuing a career in medicine is so he has the skills to, in his own words, “save even more lives.” A valiant effort, to say the least.

We sincerely wish him luck in all of his endeavours, and look forward to his career as a medical professional.

Why do we run this scholarship?

For the same reason we run and maintain creditcardGenius – we want to help Canadians make better financial decisions, and help them keep more of their hard-earned cash in their pocket.

And with the non-stop growth of higher education costs, we want to help ease the burden of students, especially those that are extremely committed to academic excellence.
