It’s finally that time of year again.

But before you start dragging out the Holiday decorations just yet, you might want to stay awhile – because this is gonna be HUGE.

So grab some hot chocolate and curl up in your comfiest chair, it’s time to get your chance to win.

Continuing the 7-year-long tradition we started on HowToSaveMoney.ca, which debuted on creditcardGenius last year, we’ll be giving away $1,000 of our own money to 5 lucky winners.

Also be sure to tell us how you plan to use the extra cash this Holiday season. We want to hear what you’d do with the money ‒ your dreams, plans, hopes…we love hearing from you.

The prizes

Here’s how the prizes work:

• 1^st Prize – $500 cash
• 2^nd Prize – $250 cash
• 3^rd Prize – $150 cash
• 4^th Prize – $50 cash
• 5^th Prize – $50 cash

Joining is easy, just follow the instructions in the giveaway entry form below.

You can pick and choose which ways you want to enter using the form and it will keep track of all your entries, up to a maximum of 27 per person.

You can use either an email address or your Facebook account to access the form. But don’t worry, we respect your privacy. Your email address or Facebook account will only be used to contact you if you’re selected as a winner. It’ll be used for nothing else.

To ensure all your entries will count, please read and follow the instructions on the form for every step you choose to complete very carefully. It is NOT enough just to click the big “Enter!” buttons.

Giveaway rules

1. Using multiple email addresses to enter is strictly prohibited and will disqualify you from the giveaway. The maximum entries any one person can earn is 27.
2. You must confirm your CCG account, remain signed up to the email list, and continue following the CCG Facebook, Twitter, and/or Pinterest accounts until the prizes are awarded to be eligible to win.
3. The giveaway period is from 8:00am November 6th, 2019 to 11:59pm on December 18th, 2019 EST.
4. Giveaway is open to all residents of Canada over the age of 18, excluding residents of the province of Quebec.
5. Winners will be drawn at random, starting with the first prize and ending with the last. If a winner cannot be reached, refuses their prize, or is ineligible or disqualified for some other reason, then that prize will be drawn again at the time this is discovered.
6. Winners will be notified on or before December 20th, 2019 and will be announced on this site shortly after all prizes have been delivered.
7. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
8. The prizes will be provided by creditcardGenius and will be paid out either by PayPal or Email Money Transfer at the winner’s choosing.
9. Winners will be required to answer a skill-testing question before the prize is awarded to them.
10. No purchase necessary.
11. To enter without filling out the above form, send an envelope containing a piece of paper with your contact details on it to the following address. Limit one entry per mailing address. All mail must be received before the closing date of the contest to be considered in the draw.
