The Scotiabank and Scene+ All The Ways To Win Sweepstakes (and a chance to go to the Stanley Cup finals)
With the NHL playoffs here, Scotiabank and Scene+ are running a contest (you may have seen a commercial for it while watching hockey).
The grand prize? A trip for 4 to the Stanley Cup finals, wherever they may be held.
But there are more prizes than that. A total of 52 prizes will be given away – here’s what they are.
The exact trip they’re giving away? It’s a 3 day, 2 night trip for 4, with an approximate retail value of $20,000.
Now, there is also an additional entry for those of you who live within 120 km of Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Toronto. Entrants will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to see these teams at home – three pairs of tickets will be available in each city.
And even if you’re not a hockey fan, it’s a free trip somewhere, and there are plenty of other prizes you could also win.
How to get your entries
Getting entries into the contest is simple. You’ve got 2 ways to do so.
Use your Scene+ loyalty card
First, everytime you use your Scene+ loyalty card at partner retailers, you’ll get 2 entries. Here is a short and incomplete list of them:
- Sobeys,
- Safeway,
- Cineplex,
- Scene+ Travel powered by Expedia,
- Harvey’s, and
- Swiss Chalet.
Pay for purchases with a Scotiabank Scene+ debit or credit card
With every purchase you make with either a Scotiabank Scene+ credit or debit card, you’ll gain 2 entries.
You can see the full list of Scotia Scene+ credit cards that qualify farther below. And if you have a chequing account with Scotia, it should be earning you Scene+ points every time you use your debit card.
Now, when you combine both of these together at once (i.e. you went to see a movie at a Cineplex theatre and paid with a Scene+ credit card), you’ll earn 5 entries instead of 4.
How to register
Even if you are a Scene+ member already, you aren’t automatically registered.
To do so, head to this special Scene+ page, and enter your email address and Scene+ card number to register.
