What is RBC Avion Select
RBC Avion Select is a new tier in the Avion Rewards program for those who don't have either an RBC Rewards credit card or an RBC bank account.
The Avion Select rewards you collect are not the same as other Avion Rewards. For the time being, you won't actually be earning any Avion points. Instead, you'll be earning cash back.
In the future, RBC plans on upgrading this tier to be able to get travel deals as well as earning and redeeming points.
RBC has created this FAQ page that will hopefully answer some of your questions on Avion Select.
And if you're eager to sign up, you can get the process started here.
Retailers where you can earn bonus cash back
There are plenty of online retailers where you can earn cash back. We currently see around 500 retailers with cash back offers. However, one key retailer that's always a part of these programs is missing with Amazon.
You can't see the list unless you create an account. Once you do, you can search for a retailer and see if it's there. From there you can load your offer and visit the site. Make sure you don't close your browser window while you're shopping to make sure you're tracking isn't lost.
There's also a Chrome browser extension you can add. Once installed and you login to the extension, anytime you land on a page where you can earn bonus cash back, you'll be alerted.
Simply click "Load offer" and you're all set. Here's where you can add this extension.
