KOHO prepaid cards switching networks to Mastercard
This is quite the change for KOHO prepaid cards. They’ve left the Visa network for Mastercard.
There’s a couple of things to note about this. The first is if you’re new to KOHO, you’ll be getting a Mastercard.
For existing members, you get to choose if you want to keep your Visa or get a Mastercard. If you haven’t heard from them yet, don’t fret. You should get something from them asking if you want to switch to Mastercard or keep a Visa.
And while it’s a big change, it won’t mean too much except for this – you’ll be able to use KOHO cards at Costco.
But otherwise, nothing is changing. Everything you know and love about KOHO prepaid cards is staying the same.
Your thoughts
It may seem like a big change, but KOHO switching from Visa to Mastercard isn’t much of a change for its cardholders unless you’re a Costco shopper.
