And now, they have stepped into the Canadian loyalty program market as well.
Let’s introduce you to GT VIP – Giant Tiger’s brand new loyalty program, which will offer you even more savings – on top of the weekly flyer.
Here’s everything you need to know about their new program – just note the program is currently only available in Ontario. A nationwide launch is expected sometime in early 2020.

So how does the program work?
First, you’ll have to download the app on your phone, available on both Android and iOS devices.
Every Wednesday, you’ll get exclusive deals that feature discounts on various items throughout the store. And you can get these discounts in conjunction with the weekly savings flyer, as well.
To get your discounts, either scan the barcode in the app, or let the cashier know your phone number.
You’ll also get some VIP benefits, including access to exclusive contests, sweepstakes and other partnerships perks such as savings to restaurant and sporting events.
