2,300 Miles with the BMO Air Miles Mastercard
We'll start with the no fee BMO Air Miles Mastercard. First, you'll earn 1,500 Miles after you spend $1,000 in the first 3 months.
The second part – spend $400 at wholesale clubs (like Costco) in the first 3 months, and you'll earn another 800 Air Miles.
Redeem those as cash miles, and they're worth $242 – an excellent bonus for a no fee card.
One final kicker – we're giving $20 GeniusCash when you apply through us.
4,500 Miles with the BMO Air Miles World Elite Mastercard
The BMO Air Miles World Elite Mastercard kicks things up a couple of notches.
The first part of the bonus is 3,000 Air Miles after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months.
The other part – you’ll earn another 1,500 miles when you spend $700 in the first 3 months at your wholesale or membership stores, like Costco.
Those Air Miles are worth a whopping $473 when redeemed for cash. On top of all this, the first year is free, which is another $120 in savings.

What BMO's Air Miles credit cards have to offer
BMO's made quite a few changes to these cards since they took over ownership of Air Miles.
Here are the details of what they offer. Both these cards have something very rare – which is a special earn rate for your Costco shopping. It's not something found on any other credit card (even the Costco credit card itself doesn't have a special earn rate when you shop in a warehouse).

BMO Air Miles Mastercard
The no fee BMO Air Miles Mastercard is an entry-level card. First, here's what you'll earn for rewards on purchases:
- 1 Mile per $25 spent on all purchases
- 3x the Miles for every $25 at participating Air Miles partners
- 2x the Miles for every $25 spent at any eligible grocery, liquor, and wholesale stores
Spend $2,000 per month and you'll earn roughly 1,200 Air Miles per year.
And it has a few extra perks too. The biggest is automatic Air Miles Gold status. You can transfer up to 1,000 Miles between your dream and cash balances.
Like all BMO credit cards, you can save money on gas at Shell. You'll save 2 cents per litre on all fuel, which increases to 7 cents for Shell V-Nitro gas.
You can also save on balance transfers, with a 0.99% rate for 9 months. And again, all this is for no annual fee.
$20 GeniusCash + Up to 
BMO Air Miles World Elite Mastercard
Now for the big brother – the BMO Air Miles World Elite Mastercard, which steps everything up for a $120 annual fee.
- 1 Mile for every $12 spent
- 3x the Miles for every $12 at participating Air Miles partners
- 2x the Miles for every $12 spent at any eligible grocery, liquor, and wholesale stores
It’s the same rewards structure as the no fee card, but a little more than doubled, and will give you around 2,500 Air Miles per year if you spend $2,000 per month.
There are also plenty more perks. There are the basic World Elite Mastercard benefits, with things like Priceless Cities and a Mastercard Travel Pass membership (with no free passes).
It also comes with an annual discount for rewards travel. Book a rewards flight with Air Miles, and you can save 25% of the cost in Miles, which is up to 750 miles saved.
You'll also be able to save money on gas at Shell – up to 7 cents per litre. You'll save 2 cents per litre on all fuel grades except for V-Nitro fuel where you'll save 7 cents per litre.
Lastly, it also comes with automatic Onyx status, which among other things, will get you unlimited cash/dream miles transfers, discounts on merchandise, and more.
