A good way to get some cash for your points is redeeming for an American Express prepaid card.
Here are the current values you can get for various denominations:
Instead of the typical 0.8 cents per point, you’ll get 1 cent per point instead – a 25% increase in value.
Redeem points at Amazon.ca
Redeeming Amex Membership points through Amazon also has increased value.
Instead of the usual 1,000 points = $7 off your purchase, it’s increased to $10.
So if you have some things at Amazon you’d like to purchase with Amex Membership Rewards points, now is the time to do so.
