Aeroplan members have a new way to earn points. Helijet, the BC-based helicopter airline and charter service best known for its quick downtown-to-downtown trips between Vancouver and Victoria, is now part of the Aeroplan family.
This new partnership began on November 12, 2025, and makes Helijet the first helicopter carrier to join the growing list of Aeroplan partners.

How the Helijet Aeroplan partnership works
To earn points, members simply enter their Aeroplan number when booking a scheduled or chartered Helijet flight.
At launch, travellers earn 250 Aeroplan points per flight. Redeeming points for Helijet travel is set to launch in the future.
This is a significant value to all Helijet clients, especially the frequent flyers who use Helijet for business travel, medical transfers, or quick regional trips.
What this means for travellers
Helijet has long been a popular choice for travellers who want a fast, convenient alternative to airport connections and long commutes into the city. Adding the ability to earn Aeroplan points makes those short trips more rewarding.
For Aeroplan, partnering with Helijet expands its footprint in regional travel and brings a unique mode of transportation into their partner offering. With more than 10 million active members and dozens of airline partners, Aeroplan continues to grow the ways Canadians can earn points on everyday travel.
Collecting Aeroplan points
Whether collecting points through Helijet or another Aeroplan partner, using one of Canada’s top Aeroplan credit cards will boost your earning potential.
The American Express Cobalt is the best Aeroplan credit card available and remains a favourite for flexible earning in Canada. Plus, until December 31, 2025, you can get $100 in GeniusCash when you apply for this card through the creditcardGenius site.
