How to enter to win 1 million Aeroplan points
The biggest part of Aeroplan's anniversary celebration is a contest to win 1 of 40 prizes of a million Aeroplan points. To enter, simply head to the Aeroplan Anniversary page, enter your Aeroplan number, and accept the terms.
If you're an Air Canada Elite member, you'll get 2 entries. You’ll also find other ways to earn bonus points.
You have until July 17, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern to register.
Other ways to earn bonus Aeroplan points
There are other ways you can earn extra Aeroplan points for yourself. Here are our top 3.
1. 40% bonus points with Aeroplan-branded credit cards
If you have an Aeroplan credit card, there's a nice little bonus waiting for you: between July 14 and 17, you'll earn 40% bonus points on all of your purchases up to a maximum of $40,000 in spend.
Here's an example of how many bonus points you'll earn per $100 spent with American Express cards (all earn rates for all Aeroplan cards can be found under term 3).
If you’ve never had an Aeroplan-branded card before, there’s also a bonus for you: 40% bonus points – but much more of them.
Apply from July 8–17 and you'll earn 40% bonus points on your purchases for the first 40 days after your account is opened. This bonus maxes out after $40,000 in spend.
You'll get this offer with any Aeroplan-branded credit card. Here are a few of the eligible options:
2. 10x the Aeroplan points at the Aeroplan eStore
From July 8–17, you'll earn 10x the Aeroplan points when shopping at select Aeroplan eStore partners.
The full list isn't available but the page lists Dyson, the Gap, Lululemon, Sephora, and Wayfair among the eligible partners.
3. 20% points back on hotels, car rentals, and gift cards
If you’re redeeming Aeroplan points, you might just get 20% of them back:
- Hotel stays and car rentals. Book by July 17 and travel by December 31, 2024 and you'll get 20% of the points you used back.
- Gift cards. Redeem at least 20,000 points on gift cards or merchandise from July 8–17 and you'll get 20% of your points back.
