How much your rewards are worth
The dollar value of your rewards depends on the specific rewards program ‒ and what you choose to redeem your points for. For Canadian Tire Cash Advantage Mastercard in particular, if you spend $2,000 per month, here's our estimated annual rewards earned depending on which reward you choose:
| Statement credits | $232 |
Calculating your annual rewards
$24,000 annual spending x 0.97% return on spending = $232 annual rewards
$232 annual rewards − $0.00 annual fee = $232 net annual rewards

Our review
A no fee, cash back card that earns you bonus rewards at Canadian Tire stores, the Canadian Tire Cash Advantage Mastercard will reward you for being a loyal shopper with Canadian Tire.
What can you earn? It's a little complicated. This card has a lot of tiers to mess with, so even though it advertises you can earn 1.5% cash back, it takes a lot of spending just to get to that point:
- 0.25% on your first $1,500 spent,
- 0.50% between $1,500 to $3,000,
- 1% between $3,000 to $24,000, and
- 1.5% on anything you spend over $24,000.
When you shop at Canadian Tire stores, you'll earn double cash back on the tier you're currently in. So for Canadian Tire stores, you'll earn between 0.5% to 3% back on your purchases.
Depending on how much you spend on the card, you might not earn much for cash back.
One nice feature of this card, however, is that you can get no fee, interest free financing on purchases of over $200 at Canadian Tire stores. You'll be able to break up any purchase into 12 smaller monthly payments.
One downside? There's no insurance included, which could be a deal-breaker if insurance is something that's important to you.

Dont waste your time with this card, it's worth It to have the canadian tire mastercard that you get points from for spending at canadian tire only !!!
Very decent. Cashback is what it is. Good Canadian Tire Perks
Have had an ok experience with this card, nothing exceptional however.
I never successfully was able to access the on-line transaction feature. The website is confusing, password access is problematic and there is a bewildering array of product offerings to bypass in order to reach the credit card transaction data.
