Introducing The 2024 creditcardGenius Scholarship Recipient

Our 2024 scholarship period concluded at the beginning of October and we took time to review every single application we received. While every story was unique and incredible, we had to pick a recipient and we’re excited to share our decision.

The 2024 scholarship recipient: Tyla-Jane Jackson

We are happy to announce that Tyla-Jane Jackson is the recipient of our 2024 creditcardGenius scholarship of $2,000. Congratulations, Tyla!

Tyla-Jane is a second-year student at Laurentian University and pursuing her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. Her goal is to become a teacher and she sees her education as a stepping stone to creating positive change in her life.

While Tyla-Jane has faced numerous challenges and setbacks to achieving her education, her resourcefulness and determination have prevailed. She feels that these experiences have equipped her with the skills and strength to overcome future challenges.

creditcardGenius’s mission is to help Canadians find the products that best suit their financial needs – to be able to better manage their finances and keep more money in their wallets. Our scholarship is an extension of that. It's a way that we can offer support for tuition costs to help someone move forward on their path to a better financial future.
