$1,000 Christmas Giveaway Canada 2023: Our 11th Annual Draw

For the 10th year in a row, creditcardGenius and moneyGenius are hosting their annual $1,000 Christmas giveaway for Canadians!

Every year, we love kickstarting the holiday cheer with one of the easiest giveaways in Canada, giving you the chance to win straight-up cash right when you need it most.

In case you didn't know, we've been hosting these giveaways on both of our sites since 2013 (back when moneyGenius was still called HowToSaveMoney). You can see the recent past winners here: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.

All you have to do to enter is fill out the form below and complete as many entries as you want, up to a maximum of 44 per person.

To ensure all your entries count, please read and follow the instructions on the form for every step you choose to complete very carefully. It is NOT enough just to click the big "Enter!" buttons. We validate each winner when they're drawn.

While you'll have to use your email address or Facebook account to complete the form, please know that we value your privacy. We'll solely use this information to reach out to you if you happen to win. It won't be utilized for any other reasons.

How the Christmas giveaway prizes are work

The $1,000 prize is broken down into 5 separate prizes, as follows:

• 1st Prize – $500 cash
• 2nd Prize – $250 cash
• 3rd Prize – $150 cash
• 4th Prize – $50 cash
• 5th Prize – $50 cash

Total Prize Value: $1,000

That means there are 5 prizes to win, and each of your entries will put you in the running for every tier! And because winners don't get disqualified once they win, you have a chance to win more than one tier.

Full rules for our 11th annual Christmas giveaway

1. Using multiple email addresses to enter is strictly prohibited and will disqualify you from the giveaway. The maximum number of entries any one person can earn is 44.
2. You must confirm your creditcardGenius (CCG) account, remain signed up to the email list, and continue following the Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, YouTube, and/or Pinterest accounts until the prizes are awarded to be eligible to win.
3. The giveaway period is from 9:00AM November 21st, 2023 to 11:59PM on December 13th, 2023 AT.
4. Giveaway is open to all residents of Canada over the age of 18, excluding residents of the province of Quebec.
5. Winners will be drawn at random, starting with the first prize and ending with the last. If a winner cannot be reached, refuses their prize, or is ineligible or disqualified for some other reason, then that prize will be drawn again at the time this is discovered.
6. Winners will be notified on or before December 20th, 2023 and will be announced on this site shortly after all prizes have been delivered.
7. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
8. The prizes will be provided by creditcardGenius and will be paid out either by PayPal or Email Money Transfer at the winner's choosing.
9. Winners will be required to answer a skill-testing question before the prize is awarded to them.
10. No purchase necessary.
11. To enter without filling out the above form, send an envelope containing a piece of paper with your contact details on it to the following address. Limit one entry per mailing address. All mail must be received before the closing date of the contest to be considered in the draw.
