5% cash back plus a bonus $50 with the BMO CashBack Mastercard
There’s a new component to the welcome offer for the BMO CashBack Mastercard.
You’re still earning 5% cash back for the first 3 months, on up to $2,500 in spend. That hasn’t changed.
But now, you can also earn an additional $50 cash back when you spend $6,000 in your first year (you’ll see this once you get to month 13). All together, that’s up to $175 in bonus cash back.
Our $20 GeniusCash offer
We also have our own kicker to offer. Sign up through our offers page, and you can earn an additional $20 when you get approved for the card.
All about the BMO CashBack Mastercard
If you’re new to this card, here’s a quick overview of what it has to offer.
Here’s what you’ll earn for rewards on all your purchases:
- 3% cash back on groceries (up to $500 per month)
- 1% cash back on recurring bill payments (up to $500 per month)
- 0.5% cash back on all other purchases
It makes for an excellent no fee credit card for getting groceries.
It also comes with a balance transfer offer. You’ll get a low rate of 0.99% for the first 9 months, with a transfer fee of 2%. If you do take BMO up on the balance transfer promo, remember this key rule of balance transfers – don’t make any purchases on your card after its complete.
It doesn’t offer much else, only coming with 2 types of insurance, but it offers plenty of rewards for no annual fee.
Your turn
It’s a pretty enticing offer for a no fee credit card.
