Best ways to redeem your Plum Rewards

Even though using your Plum points for Indigo discounts is your only redemption option, be aware that you get more value if you cash out a large number of points as opposed to the minimum.

Specifically, if you cash in 2,500 points, you’ll get $5 off, which works out to 0.2 cents per point (CPP). On the other hand, if you wait to cash in 35,000 for $100 off, your points are worth 0.29 CPP.

Learn more about Plum Rewards

Plum Rewards is a free loyalty program managed by Indigo, but you can also earn points for purchases at Chapters, Coles, Indigospirit, and The Book Company. Points can only be redeemed for purchases with these retailers.

The best Plum Rewards credit cards

Indigo does not offer a store credit card that earns more Plum points, and anyway, store-branded credit cards aren’t necessarily the best choice for earning rewards.

Instead, the best store credit card for you largely depends on your shopping style. We especially like the MBNA Rewards World Elite Mastercard, which also makes it the best store card for earning rewards at Indigo. Although you’ll only earn a flat 1 point per $1 spent, you can earn 5x that for restaurants, groceries, and select recurring bills. More importantly, you’ll have flexible redemption options when using your points.
