This was the worst experience I've ever had, but at least it was short-lived. I received an email advertising their card, and a promotion of a discount on your first "in-store" purchase with it. I decided to try it, since I had an idea for an upcoming purchase. I hit all the links it asked to me to, to apply for the card online. After going through all those steps, I rec'd my card in the mail about 2 weeks later. The following day I traveled about 100 miles to the nearest Home Depot store to make my purchase. They declined the offer for 1st purchase discount, as the Card had to be applied for "in-store". I have all the documents/pics that prove otherwise, but if this was the way this card holder was going to be, I definitely wanted no long-term relationship with them, and cancelled as soon as I arrived back home. When I was going to make the purchase, after they declined the discount, they still thought I'd want to use the Home Depot card. I said absolutely not, and provided one that I've had good success with, which is basically ever other card I have in comparison.
