Good ratio for no fee annual student card with welcome bonus for using in gas and grocuries. Although Aeroplan points worth fluctuate by quarter, estimating around 1.9~2.1 cents per point means good ~2 cent return per dollar spent on gas and grocuries for aeroplan. Recommended for students who travel alot, or have family in different countries making frequent travel. doubling up on points through aeroplan partners is also a bonus.
