Our Review

Often times it really does feel better to give than to receive, and the MBNA Canadian Wildlife Federation Platinum Plus Mastercard allows you to give with every purchase you make while not costing you a cent.

Because this card is a Platinum Plus card from MBNA, you have the bonus of being covered by 7 different types of travel and purchase insurance. If you want to know more about the included insurance, feel free to check out the Insurance Coverage tab above.

Reviewing the card details on the left, you'll see that this card offers a lower purchase interest rate at 17.99% as well as a balance transfer interest rate promotion at 1.99% for the first 10 months. (However, although you will be saving money in interest fess, it is important to keep in mind that there are fees when taking advantage of this offer – 1% of the amount transferred, with a minimum fee of $7.50).

But if you're looking to crush that credit card debt fast, there are better balance transfer cards out there.

However, if your goal is to give back and support the Canadian Wildlife Federation each time you make a purchase, then this is it.

Another option for giving back is the MBNA Royal Canadian Geographical Society Mastercard.
