Planning on doing some travelling in Europe this summer? This is a deal you won’t want to miss.

Three different European airlines are offering bonus miles on transatlantic flights between North America and Europe.

Let’s take a look at each offer and see how they stack up.

British Airways

British Airways is currently offering a 100% bonus Avios miles on your first 6 flights completed this year as part of their centennial celebration.

Book by April 19, 2019, and complete your travel by the end of the year. Simply head to this site and register with your Executive Club membership number, making sure to include your Club number when booking.

In addition to transatlantic flights, domestic flights within the United Kingdom and South Africa are also eligible.

What’s more? The bonus is not limited to just to flights operated by British Airways. Codeshare flights operated by partner airlines are eligible as well:

  • American Airlines,
  • Finnair, and
  • Iberia.

If you complete 6 flights, you’ll also get an undisclosed bonus – very mysterious.

Best credit card for British Airways

If you want to add even more Avios to your bank, the will let you do just that.

While it earns Amex Membership Rewards points, you can transfer them at a 1:1 ratio to the Executive Club.

Earn 2 points per $1 spent on gas, groceries, drugstores and any travel purchase made to the card, plus 1 point on all other purchases.

Air France and KLM

Air France and KLM are also offering a miles promotion. Get double miles on all transatlantic flights between Canada and either Amsterdam or Paris on flights operated by Air France or KLM.

Simply book your flights by April 30, and complete your travel by June 30, 2019. For full details, head to this site.

Be sure to include your Flying Blue number when you book your flight.

Best credit card to use

In Canada, the Flying Blue program doesn’t have a credit card to earn miles on.

So, to maximize the return for your trip, the could be a worthwhile option – get up to a 4.5% return when you book your trip through Expedia For TD.

And, since you can still enter your Flying Blue number, you’ll be eligible for those bonus miles as well.

Plus, this card also has a hot deal right now until June 2nd – get up to 80,000 points (up to $400 value) at Expedia For TD when you spend $1,000 in the first 3 months.

If you want the most return for travel purchases, this card is hard to beat.
