Earn up to $780 in statement credits with the Amex Business Platinum card

You can earn up to $780 back in statement credits right now, by making purchases with select retailers and by renewing your account.

Spend at least $250 with Dell, and get $250 back

This one is quite easy. Simply spend $250 in qualifying purchases after taxes, and you’ll get a $250 statement credit.

Earn up to $270 in statement credits from FedEx

To save on shipping costs, Amex and FedEx are here for you.

Use your card to make a qualifying purchase of $45 at FedEx, either online or in-store, and you’ll earn $45 back in statement credits.

This can be done a maximum of 6 times, for a total of $270 in statement credits.

This offer ends December 31, 2020.

Earn up to $160 on your cell phone bills

For some savings on your mobile phone bills, there’s a total of $160 in statement credits you can earn for them.

Spend $40 in qualifying purchases with participating mobile service providers, and you’ll earn a $40 credit.

This can be done 4 times, for a maximum credit earned of $160.

This offer ends December 31, 2020.

Renew your card account, and receive a $100 statement credit

The last one is for simply renewing your account.

If your account is set to renew by December 31, 2020, you’ll receive a statement credit of $100 if you go ahead with that renewal. And this bonus is retroactive for accounts that were already renewed this year, starting on January 1, 2020.

There’s nothing you have to do for this one, your credit will automatically be applied.

Amex Business Platinum Card

What are the details on this card? Here’s a brief overview of what the has to offer.

A part of the Membership Rewards line of cards, you’ll be earning flexible rewards on all of your purchases.

To start, you’ll earn 35,000 bonus points after spending $7,000 in the first 3 months.

On top of that, you’ll be earning 1.25 points for every $1 spent.

However, for an annual fee of $499, you’ll need more than just that to justify the fee. But it has plenty else to offer besides rewards:

  • unlimited visits to over 1,200 airport lounges worldwide,
  • automatic advances status in 4 hotel programs, including Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite,
  • access to Fine Hotels and Resorts, and
  • special benefits at Toronto-Pearson, including priority security screening.

Unfortunately, with the pandemic, these benefits generally can’t be used right now, which is why Amex is helping make up for it with these offers.
