With COVID-19 wreaking havoc with global travel, AIR MILES has made some changes to better help its members.

They’ve made some (temporary) changes to their change and cancellation fees, and introduced new cash redemption partners.

And if you’re either a Gold or Onyx member, there’s also some good news for you.

AIR MILES Onyx and Gold status extended until the end of 2021

If you already have Gold or Onyx status, you no longer have to worry about reaching the minimum miles earned threshold this year.

AIR MILES has declared that your status is safe until the end of 2021.

It’s particularly good news since they decided to postpone Mega Miles last month, one of the ways to earn a huge chunk of qualifying miles.
